Sprout Social Employee Perspectives
Sprout Social takes an education-focused approach to building greater awareness and inclusion across the organization. Monthly DEI Guild Meetings give employees dedicated time to learn about different identities, cultures and experiences, with sessions led by employees from across the company. Topics also address less visible barriers to inclusion, such as unconscious bias and stereotypes, while giving employees practical opportunities to learn how to be stronger allies.
“There is no more powerful tool than education, which is why the heart of our DEI work at Sprout is a monthly guild meeting. Each month, our team comes together to learn about different backgrounds, identities and aspects of cultures. Every session is owned and run by different people across the organization. We encourage all team members to attend and ask that no other meetings are scheduled during this time.”

Sprout Social approaches DEI as an ongoing effort that must evolve alongside the organization. By examining how employees experience inclusion and identifying areas where progress needs to accelerate, the company has worked to refine its strategy so its DEI practices can remain effective as the workforce grows.
“Fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace environment is only possible when every team member is on board. And over the past year, we took a deeper look at the way our team experiences DEI at Sprout. What we found was a need to accelerate our efforts and refine our strategy so it can scale alongside us as we continue to grow.”
