Teams at Square

Lead a remote team of 10-12 Account Managers serving SMB Food & Beverage merchants to drive revenue expansion, software adoption, and churn reduction. Coach and develop the team through structured 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and performance cadences, partner cross-functionally to resolve escalations and surface merchant insights, support OKR execution and program improvements, and act as senior escalation for high-impact merchant situations. Moderate travel (~quarterly) required.

Manage a portfolio of ~175 mid-market retail sellers to drive retention, expansion, and satisfaction. Consult on payments, POS, business management, and banking tools; identify technical solutions, negotiate contracts, and coordinate cross-functional execution. Act as customer advocate and deliver white-glove service to grow revenue and inform product and operations for the segment.

Field-driven territory sales role focused on prospecting, demoing, and closing Square products. Spend ~80% of time in-market making 50-60 targeted visits weekly, build pipeline, establish partnerships, drive referrals, manage pipeline in Salesforce, and consistently exceed quota.
