Execute plant genotyping protocols including DNA extraction, library preparation, PCR, and sequencing. Maintain sample identity, update LIMS records, manage consumables, and perform basic equipment maintenance. Support documentation, process improvement, cost reduction, data-quality troubleshooting, and laboratory training. Collaborate with international teams involved in plant breeding projects while maintaining laboratory cleanliness, safety, quality, and throughput.

Leads the site's health, safety, and environmental strategy, compliance management, risk assessments, audits, investigations, emergency preparedness, environmental programs, contractor safety, training, and continuous improvement. Advises site stakeholders, analyzes HSE data and KPIs, manages the HSE budget, and supports operational and capital planning across office, field, greenhouse, and production environments.

Conduct agricultural research operations in controlled environments, including plant care, pollination, trial data collection, inventory management, documentation, compliance, and equipment operation. Train junior and seasonal staff, maintain records, report performance metrics, collaborate across teams, and implement process improvements. The role requires manual labor, shift flexibility, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to agricultural, HSE, EPA, and WPS requirements.
