Lead the CNC engineering department, mentor CNC personnel, prioritize workloads, and establish engineering standards and documentation. Train teams in CNC setup and programming across major machine brands and controls. Oversee the development of jigs, fixtures, and cutting tools, while applying expertise in multi-axis machining, CNC machine tools, CAM, CAD, and related software. The role requires at least ten years of full-time shop-floor CNC machine-tool leadership.

Develop CNC part-processing recommendations, assess machines, create CNC programs, and support turning-center and 5-axis machining. Perform machine setups, prove-outs, cutting-tool documentation, and operator training. Apply CAD/CAM software, G-code and macro programming, and experience with CNC equipment and controllers. The role requires at least one year of hands-on shop-floor CNC operator or setup-operator experience; a bachelor’s degree and CAD/MS Office familiarity are preferred.

Design fixtures, jigs, and facility layouts using CAD software in a manufacturing environment. Drive cost reductions, process improvements, productivity gains, and space utilization. Learn and apply Toyota Production System methods, including one-piece flow, takt time reduction, kanban, and workcell development. Serve as a bilingual Japanese-English liaison with the corporate team in Tokyo. The role requires an engineering bachelor’s degree, fluency in Japanese and English, and approximately 10% travel.
