Own the full sales cycle for mid-market travel agencies, from researching named accounts and sourcing opportunities through discovery, platform demonstrations, multithreaded deal management, forecasting, and closing. Sell Tern’s operational SaaS platform, including accounting and commissions functionality, to agency owners and back-office stakeholders. Maintain rigorous HubSpot records, deliver accurate forecasts, coordinate internal resources, secure full-seat commitments, and provide complete implementation handoffs.

Owns Tern’s accounting function, including revenue recognition, P&L restructuring, unit economics, month-end close, burn management, tax exposure, commission payouts, and payment-product accounting requirements. This first accounting hire will establish the chart of accounts, controls, processes, and accounting policies for a growing fintech and SaaS business, partnering with finance and engineering while serving as the company’s accounting subject-matter expert.

Own end-to-end supplier integrations: design, implement, test, and monitor third-party APIs. Ship weekly, improve tooling and abstractions, ensure reliability, and mentor peers. Use AI-assisted workflows to speed integration development.
