Oversee quality assurance and quality control for systems contractors on transportation infrastructure projects. Manage inspections, testing, audits, quality plans, nonconformance resolution, certifications, commissioning records, and turnover documentation. Coordinate with engineering, construction, systems integration teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and project owners. Track testing progress, quality metrics, deficiencies, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with project requirements and applicable transportation standards.

Interns gain hands-on experience in project engineering, field management, estimating, preconstruction, and jobsite operations. Responsibilities include assisting project managers and field supervisors, estimating change orders, coordinating subcontractors, scheduling contracts and materials, maintaining documents, supporting safety management, attending meetings, and preparing RFIs and submittals. The program is designed to develop interns for full-time construction careers after graduation and may involve travel or relocation.

Supports construction project teams through document control, daily coordination, material procurement, quality and safety management, subcontractor coordination, surveying, project layout, equipment management, progress reporting, and estimating.
