Lead the GL and revenue accounting team to ensure accurate, audit-ready financial records. Own month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, ASC 606 revenue recognition, payout accounting, and cross-functional system/data integrity. Support financial reporting, audits, internal controls, process improvements, and system implementations while partnering with Controller, CFO, and other stakeholders.

Lead and supervise live Trade Desk and Platform Support operations within an NFA/CFTC-regulated environment. Manage real-time trading risk, client escalations, platform incident response, FCM interactions, compliance with retention and record-keeping rules, cross-functional collaboration with Engineering/Product/Risk, and staff development to ensure scalable, auditable, and compliant operational processes.

Lead and build Topstep’s global in-house tax function, overseeing income and indirect tax compliance, ASC 740 provision processes, international tax and transfer pricing, managing external advisors, and developing a small tax team while implementing scalable processes and tax technology to support company growth.
