Receives structured training to investigate, evaluate, document, and resolve workers compensation claims. Assists with determining coverage, compensability, exposure, and potential fraud; communicates with policyholders, claimants, providers, witnesses, and legal counsel; maintains claim records; coordinates medical treatment and return-to-work efforts; and obtains required insurance licenses.

Manage workers’ compensation claims from investigation through resolution, including coverage and compensability determinations, reserves, medical coordination, litigation, settlements, statutory filings, offsets, fraud evaluation, and return-to-work planning. Collaborate with medical, legal, and internal resources to resolve claims, negotiate settlements, maintain file quality, and close claims timely. An insurance license may be required, along with continuing education and state-specific workers’ compensation knowledge.

Manage complex, high-severity general liability claims from initial notice through resolution. Investigate coverage, liability, damages, reserves, and policy issues; coordinate with counsel and stakeholders; negotiate settlements; manage litigation; maintain claim records; and provide timely customer communication. The role also mentors claim professionals, supports technology and AI implementations, maintains required insurance licenses, and may attend mediations, trials, or arbitrations.
