Teams at Valdes Architecture & Engineering

Provides senior technical leadership for complex mechanical engineering projects across infrastructure, building systems, industrial, utility, power, and life sciences markets. Leads design from concept through commissioning, establishes technical direction, reviews engineering deliverables, resolves complex issues, supports construction and field activities, and ensures quality and code compliance. Mentors engineers, advises clients, contributes to proposals and business development, and serves as Engineer of Record when appropriate.

Leads mechanical engineering design assignments across infrastructure, building, industrial, utility, power, and life sciences projects. Develops calculations, specifications, equipment selections, drawings, and construction documents; manages mechanical scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables; coordinates multidisciplinary teams; reviews vendor and construction documentation; supports field investigations, installation, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Mentors engineers and designers, performs QA/QC, supports client interactions and proposals, and applies engineering judgment to resolve technical issues.

Manage multidisciplinary engineering projects from proposal through completion: coordinate teams, maintain client relationships, control schedules and budgets, mitigate risks, oversee design quality, and support project planning, reporting, and on-site activities.
