The Senior Systems Engineer will support sales of enterprise storage, assist with system configurations, and demonstrate technical expertise while defining product requirements and creating solution blueprints.

Forward Deployed Engineer embedded with strategic customers to design and operate large-scale data infrastructure, troubleshoot distributed systems and networking issues, develop automation and APIs, and translate deployment challenges into product improvements. The role requires deep expertise in storage, Linux internals, high-performance networking, Python and C/C++, plus customer-facing communication and up to 25% travel.

Own technical strategy and field success for VAST deployments on partner hardware, especially EBox. Architect and size solutions, set performance expectations, validate infrastructure readiness, guide deployments, troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, and support strategic customers and partners. Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Support, Engineering, and Product while developing repeatable deployment practices and technical guidance.
