Describe your company culture in one word.

Inclusive. Vertafore employees are welcoming and collaborative. We have a lot of interest groups like Vertafore Book Club and Vertafore Cares Committee so employees have the ability to network and meet other employees throughout the company. Our company resource groups like Black@Vertafore, Women of Vertafore, Able@Vertafore and NEXT: Early in Career, provide a lot of opportunities to get involved throughout the company.

 

How long have you been with the company, and what professional growth or development have you seen in that time?

I've been at Vertafore for about 5 and a half years. I started in the customer success org as a customer success specialist where I worked with our smaller customers to help get them training and other product resources. I then moved into a customer success manager role where I had the opportunity to manage a specific group of customers. In this position I worked with teams throughout the company. 

While in customer success, I learned a lot about the insurance industry and managing different priorities and customer needs at once. I eventually moved over to the talent acquisition team where I was able to use my customer and product knowledge to help candidates get a better understanding of Vertafore and our customers. Since I've joined talent acquisition, I've had a lot of visibility into HR laws and processes. Throughout my time at Vertafore I've strengthened my business acumen, time management and organizational skills.
