Lead complex, multi-year new product development and customized customer design projects from initiation through implementation and aftercare. Coordinate cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, sales, quality, finance, and international teams while managing schedules, budgets, risks, scope changes, quality targets, and stakeholder communications. Develop project plans, facilitate status meetings, resolve roadblocks, maintain change-management processes, and improve APQP and NPD processes.

Leads complex quality engineering initiatives across manufacturing, customer quality, suppliers, and new product introduction. Drives international revenue growth for power industry products through regional strategies, OEM account plans, technical sales, negotiations, and contract closure. Expands product sales, identifies business opportunities and partners, conducts market and competitor analysis, manages customer relationships, and provides forecasts and KPI reporting. Requires technical expertise in relays, RTUs, sensors, and related components, along with 5–7 years of technical sales or business development experience.

Estimates production times, staffing, and costs; collaborates with management and engineering; trains staff; applies statistical methods; leads quality and cost improvements; coordinates projects; and conducts DFMEA sessions to identify and mitigate design risks. The role is primarily office-plant based, includes occasional lifting and walking, and requires approximately 10% travel to customers and manufacturing sites.

Programs, debugs, commissions, and optimizes robotic, CNC, and automated manufacturing systems for reliable lights-out operation. Defines machining processes, designs and maintains fixtures, develops automation specifications, and leads projects from concept through production. Integrates equipment with digital monitoring and MES systems, improves cycle times and reliability, supports training and troubleshooting, and recommends capital investments. Applies statistical methods and modern Industry 4.0 practices to reduce costs, improve safety, and enhance production performance.

Design and develop real-time embedded software for controllers, sensors, and electro-mechanical transit products from concept through production. Architect scalable systems, optimize performance and cost, support integration and validation, participate in DFMEA and APQP/NPD processes, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to product innovation, and support engineering standards, manufacturing, and customer requirements.

Serve as the technical authority for product safety and regulatory compliance in US transit bus products. Own FMVSS and CMVSS assessments, lead ADA accessibility compliance, support FTA-funded procurements, define verification strategies, approve test plans and compliance evidence, and manage safety risks with engineering, quality, suppliers, customers, regulators, legal counsel, and testing laboratories.

Leads the architecture, requirements, validation, and integration of complex railroad solutions, especially autonomous train operations and automated yard management. Translates railroad operating practices and train-handling expertise into software requirements, safety protocols, simulations, and solution-level test plans. Supports RFPs, field testing, regulatory compliance, technical risk mitigation, and cross-functional issue resolution while serving as a technical bridge between railroad experts, engineering teams, customers, and management.

Conduct product cybersecurity assessments throughout the SDLC for web, embedded, connected, and industrial systems. Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, security architecture reviews, and secure design guidance. Develop cybersecurity controls, standards, training, and awareness programs; support defect investigations, remediation, vulnerability disclosure, and incident response. Partner with engineering, product, leadership, customers, and suppliers to improve cybersecurity maturity and compliance with applicable frameworks and standards.

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for transit bus systems. Create and revise drawings, support prototyping and validation testing, analyze test results, contribute to DFMEA and root-cause analysis, collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain for DFM/DFA, assist field service and sales with technical issues, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Ten-week summer finance internship featuring rotations or assignments across FP&A, commercial finance, supply chain finance, and controllership. Interns will analyze data, support forecasting and reporting, improve processes, contribute to business decisions, and present recommendations to Finance stakeholders. The program includes coaching, feedback, exposure to senior leaders, and potential consideration for Wabtec’s two-year Finance LEAD rotational program.
