Leads new product development projects from concept through production launch while serving as the product safety and compliance subject matter expert. Manages scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, reviews, and cross-functional coordination. Oversees compliance with FMVSS, ADA, NHTSA, FTA, customer, and other regulatory requirements. Interfaces with customers, agencies, legal counsel, suppliers, and testing organizations; resolves safety and compliance issues; improves processes; and mentors project teams.

Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for transit bus and rail products. Create drawings and schematics, support DFMEAs, prototypes, validation testing, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, field service, and sales teams to resolve technical issues and improve designs. The role also involves documentation, continuous improvement, and occasional customer or manufacturing-site travel.

Oversee corporate credit card and P-Card programs, bank guarantees, letters of credit, payment processing controls, banking access, and contractor performance. Manage banking relationships, support account administration, enhance treasury systems, automate payments, improve processes, prepare reports, and assist with audits. The role requires strong knowledge of treasury operations, fraud prevention, segregation of duties, and financial controls.
