Facilitate pre-certification and benefit verification for neurology surgical and nonsurgical procedures. Contact insurers for authorizations, supply documentation, log and track pre-certifications, maintain procedure schedules, and communicate status with physicians, billing, and utilization departments.

Manage financial operations for assigned neurology departments including reporting and variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, transaction oversight, internal controls, restricted fund management, and serving as liaison to department leaders and central finance units. Prepare reports, process journal entries and budget adjustments, train staff on systems/policies, and support compliance and reconciliations.

Obtain patient demographic and insurance information, complete referral forms, counsel patients on financial assistance, and schedule/coordinate psychiatry appointments via phone or email. Provide advanced billing and scheduling support for neurology, lead and train staff, manage provider schedules and templates, triage phone/email communications, perform registration and insurance collection, prepare reports, participate in quality improvement, and coordinate administrative operations.

Support ARPA-H, DOD, DOE and other federal proposals and troubleshoot fund/profile issues.
