Leads the tax department, oversees workflow and staff development, manages client relationships, reviews individual and business tax returns, provides tax planning and advisory services, researches complex tax issues, and collaborates with firm principals. The role offers a succession path toward principal ownership of a $5.5 million client book of business.

Prepare and begin reviewing complex federal and state tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065); support engagements from planning to completion; provide proactive tax planning and projections; manage client relationships under manager oversight; review staff work and maintain quality control; use CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, and Lacerte.

Prepare complex partnership and corporate tax returns involving transactional tax matters, reorganizations, basis adjustments, waterfall allocations, multi-state exposure, and 1031 exchanges. Support private equity and family office clients, conduct technical tax research, resolve issues with senior team members, and gradually assume review responsibilities while managing multiple engagements remotely.
