Manages affordable housing compliance across a Chicago portfolio, including LIHTC, Section 8, PBV, and CHA programs. Conducts property audits, supports agency reviews, monitors regulatory requirements, assists with lease-ups and program conversions, configures property management systems, develops policies, delivers training, and tracks financial and program performance. Provides ongoing support to site managers and internal departments while ensuring compliance with agency and company standards.

Serves as a regional HR partner, advising employees and managers on employee relations, policies, performance management, investigations, compliance, and conflict resolution. Supports recruiting, onboarding, training, engagement, HR operations, reporting, audits, leave administration, and employee records. Partners with operational leaders and analyzes HR data to identify workforce trends and recommendations. The role is hybrid in Chicago with occasional travel to out-of-state properties.

Processes initial, interim, and annual affordable-housing certifications and recertifications. Interviews residents, verifies income and assets using EIV, maintains HUD compliance forms and resident files, manages waitlists and deadlines, supports move-ins and audits, and provides customer service. The role requires knowledge of HUD, RAD, PBV, Section 8, public housing, HCV, tax-credit programs, Yardi, and affordable-housing compliance.
