Prepares and maintains complex financial reports, cost accounting records, forward pricing rate proposals, and incurred cost submissions for government contracts and grants. Ensures compliance with FAR, CAS, and other regulations; monitors direct and indirect rates; supports and leads audits; responds to auditors; and communicates financial information across the organization. Senior-level responsibilities include independently preparing submissions, coordinating complex audits, and mentoring junior accounting staff.

Manages financial systems, technical accounting, reporting, audits, and compliance for government contracts and grants. Provides guidance on FAR, CAS, GAAP, and government accounting requirements; leads financial reporting and audit support; manages related projects, budgets, and timelines; and mentors accounting staff. Requires proficiency with financial software, Excel, analytical tools, and government accounting systems, plus strong communication and attention to detail.

Coordinates government subcontract solicitation activities, collects and analyzes supply chain data, maintains subcontract documentation, supports supplier communications, and improves sourcing processes. Responsibilities also include reviewing proposals, preparing compliance files, managing RFQs, entering data into SAP and WISE, tracking metrics, supporting closeouts, and assisting with government contracting compliance under FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and EAR requirements.
