Teams at Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights

Provides interdisciplinary best-interest advocacy for unaccompanied and separated immigrant children. Responsibilities include supervising volunteer advocates, managing cases, drafting legal determinations, consulting on immigration and child welfare law, coordinating with courts and government stakeholders, supporting recruitment and training, maintaining case data, and collaborating with social workers using trauma-informed and culturally sensitive practices.

Manage accounts payable: process invoices and payments, maintain vendor accounts and AP records, prepare payment batches, handle vendor inquiries and employee reimbursements, support month/year-end close, assist Senior Accounting Manager, monitor aging reports, support audits, and identify process improvements.
