JOB PURPOSE: The role of an Account Coordinator is to maintain and merchandise retailer websites to follow best-practices for ecommerce and assist with digital marketing campaigns. A successful candidate will deliver excellent customer service in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner. Workdays involve direct communication with bicycle retailer clients and internal team members.
REPORTING STRUCTURE: This position is a part of the Marketing Agency Department.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work with bike retailers on marketing and website maintenance projects, which includes updating websites to meet e-commerce best practices
- Update and maintain catalog settings via supplier sync and POS sync
- Merchandise website homepages which will require limited HTML and CSS knowledge
- Review and update websites to meet accessibility standards
- Communicate in an effective & timely manner with clients and team members
- Use project tracking system to manage workflow
- Manage 50+ accounts
- Write website copy for headlines, body copy, and links/buttons
- Track marketing performance, communicate results, and develop plans for improvement
- Sell complementary marketing services to help meet your client’s goals
- Communicate effectively with the Client Success Team to ensure timely attention to technical issues beyond the scope of agency services
- Be a good partner to your clients by providing excellent customer service involving problem solving and guiding them towards best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of marketing and best practices for specialty retailers

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience as a marketing professional at an agency or business
- Customer service, retail, sales, or bike shop experience strongly preferred
- Experience with wordpress or shopify a plus
- Working knowledge of marketing and modern web technologies
- Organized and proficient at managing overlapping projects in a detail oriented manner
- Must work well in a team and independently
- Proven experience in collaborating with others in a professional environment
- Understands, interprets and implements feedback effectively
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude for work
- Retail work experience preferred
- Passion for and knowledge of cycling is a plus
- Hard-working, creative and eager to learn and expand knowledge of online direct marketing
Limited domestic travel may be a requirement.
