Account Development Associate is a Sales / Customer Success role that requires a high level of organization, a competitive nature, and a strategic mindset with high ambitions. The preference for this position is to be a full time hybrid role that is based in our headquarters of Atlanta, GA.
MedTrans Go's platform acts as a two-sided digital marketplace that matches healthcare facilities/systems, as well as Personal Injury (PI) attorneys/firms, medical funding companies, and more, ("customers") with businesses and individuals providing services like medical transportation and interpretation ("service partners"). The Account Development Associate will work cross-departmentally to ensure prospective, onboarding, and current customers have an exceptional experience.
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, a creative approach to researching leads, excitement for building relationships with prospective and current customers, and experience in the healthcare, PI, or medical funding industries.
MedTrans Go is an early-stage startup with room for growth! Compensation packages for this position include an annual salary starting at $55K, uncapped commission, and other benefits. Expected annual on-target earnings (OTE) are $70-95K.
Responsibilities
  • Strategically identifying new business opportunities; identifying potential customers and developing sales plans through research, data utilization, networking, and referrals from existing customers; building a robust sales pipeline.
  • Developing buy-in across the systems from the decision-makers to the end-users; growing MTG revenue by closing new customers.
  • Developing sales plans, managing sales pipeline, and documenting progress using Sales tools (including, but not limited, to CRM platform).
  • Managing assigned customer accounts as the key contact and advocate; developing and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations; understanding customers' goals and anticipating their needs.
  • Owning new customer onboarding, training, and set-up for assigned accounts; collaborating with Sales, Operations, Partner Success, and Technology teams to ensure a smooth, efficient, and effective onboarding experience.
  • Maintaining segmented and standardized customer engagement with proactive touchpoints; communicating feature releases and relevant updates; utilizing data to drive customer adoption / growth.
  • Driving upsells, cross-sells, expansions, and renewal opportunities for assigned accounts and collaborating with other members of the Customer Success team to develop effective strategies for these opportunities.
  • Serving as the voice of the customer with internal stakeholders; sharing customer feedback with other departments; collaborating cross department to ensure customer request fulfillment and overall success.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing issues customers may have; assisting with inbound inquiries / questions and owning escalations from assigned accounts; leading continual improvement of processes and customer-facing technology.

Qualifications
The right candidate for this role will be someone who takes initiative, is proactive, organized, agile, empathetic, effective at communication, and is passionate about building relationships and earning trust from prospective customers.
  • Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field and/or corresponding years of Sales experience
    • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calling)
    • CRM software experience preferred
    • Experience in the healthcare domain, legal/PI domain, and/or medical transportation/interpretation fields preferred
  • Skills
    • Superb interpersonal skills
    • The ability to handle competing priorities and multiple objectives
    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • Good judge of character and ability to cope with rejection
    • Proficiency utilizing technology
    • Ability to be effective in fast-paced and dynamic environments
