Job Description:

Overview of Position

As an Account Director, you are responsible for selling Broadcom’s Storage Networking portfolio and services directly and through the channel ecosystem to end-user customers across your assigned territory. Represents Broadcom to the customer and advocates for customer needs in all sales-oriented activities. This is a quota carrying position located in the Greater Toronto area covering clients across Ontario and Western Canada.

In this role, you'll help Broadcom by:

  • Employing strong interpersonal and communication skills to successfully identify, qualify, and win sales opportunities 
  • Managing a pipeline of active deals to ensure long term book-of-business sustainability
  • Creating and achieving long-term and short-term account-based revenue objectives (i.e. Annual Business Plan, Quarterly Territory Plan, etc.)
  • Developing and maintaining trusted relationships with senior level decision makers in your assigned accounts and partners
  • Effectively communicating Broadcom's ability to address customers' Enterprise storage needs and overall IT business objectives
  • Demonstrating proficiency in proposal creation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets

Required Skills

To apply for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Relevant year's experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • 10+ years' experience in a customer-facing B2B role, or equivalent level of education and experience
  • Prior experience in meeting/exceeding sales quota
  • Strong understanding of a value-based sales approach
  • Significant experience in managing a pipeline of active deals
  • Proven leadership ability in directing cross-functional virtual teams

Compensation and Benefits


The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position is CAD 169,000.00 To CAD 270,000.00

OTE includes Sales Incentive Commission in accordance with relevant plan documents and salary. In addition, as a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible to receive a competitive new hire equity grant and annual equity awards, directly connecting your success to the company's growth. All subject to relevant plan documents and award agreements.
