About AppDirect

Become a digital, global citizen and enable the new generation of digital entrepreneurs around the world. AppDirect offers a subscription commerce platform to sell any product, through any channel, on any device - as a service. We power millions of subscriptions worldwide for organizations. We do this by our values-driven culture—one that enables you to Be Seen, Be Yourself, and Do Your Best Work.

About You

We are looking for an Account Executive Inbound who genuinely enjoys the rhythm of a high-volume sales environment and can move from discovery to close confidently, often within a single call. You understand the basics of a B2B sales cycle and can quickly qualify an opportunity, uncover a customer's needs, and present the right solution without needing someone to walk you through every step. You are comfortable working across a portfolio of technology and telecom solutions, and you pick up new products and tools quickly. When a more complex opportunity comes through, you know when to engage the right internal resources. You manage your pipeline in a CRM with discipline, keeping follow-up activity consistent so no opportunity slips through. You thrive in a structured but dynamic environment where your schedule may shift week to week across a 7 a.m.–7 p.m. CT window, and you treat that flexibility as a normal part of the job.

What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

  • Handle approximately 20–30 inbound calls per day from customers generated through advisor-led marketing campaigns, running the full sales cycle independently from qualification, discovery, quoting, and close.
  • Sell telecom and connectivity solutions (internet, phone, and related services) on behalf of carrier partners such as Spectrum, Comcast, and Verizon, while identifying opportunities to expand into AppDirect's broader technology portfolio.
  • Manage your own sales funnel in HubSpot, tracking every lead from first contact through close and maintaining timely follow-up on opportunities that don't close on the first call.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales KPIs tied to a seasonally adjusted quota structure designed to reflect realistic traffic patterns throughout the year.
  • Engage solution engineers or product specialists when an opportunity grows complex, ensuring customers receive accurate guidance without leaving revenue on the table.
  • Build and grow customer relationships post-sale to protect recurring revenue and uncover additional solution needs over time.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a SDR/BDR position.
  • Comfort with technology and software concepts; a background in tech or telecom sales is a plus.
  • Ability to work a rotating shift schedule between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday, with in-office availability Tuesday through Thursday at our Chicago location.
  • Basic proficiency with CRM tools or a demonstrated ability to adopt new software; we will train you on HubSpot and our internal quoting systems.
  • Self-sufficiency, because this role moves fast. Inbound calls connect you to live opportunities immediately, and the team needs someone who can take initiative.
  • Intellectual curiosity about a broad and evolving technology portfolio, because uncovering the right solution for a customer depends on knowing enough to ask the right questions.
