At EdSights, we're building the technology for higher education to understand what students are actually thinking and feeling, so they can act before small struggles become big problems. We call it Student Voice Intelligence: engaging students in real-time, AI-powered conversations, uncovering the real drivers of attrition, and delivering those insights to power student success and enrollment workflows.

Today, we partner with 300+ colleges and universities across the country. We're backed by an $80M investment from JMI Equity and are in a phase of rapid execution and expansion. This is an opportunity to do meaningful, hands-on work at a high-growth startup tackling one of higher education's most urgent challenges: helping more students persist from enrollment through graduation.

You’ll join a driven, thoughtful team that values ownership, moves quickly, and cares deeply about building products that make a measurable difference for students.

“EdSights has perhaps the world’s most valuable data set on what college students need to navigate their academic lives.”

The Opportunity

We're looking for a results-oriented, entrepreneurial Account Executive with strong intellectual curiosity and a passion for sales and business development. You'll own a territory end to end—learning your prospects' strategic priorities, crafting effective outreach, and leading the full sales cycle from prospecting through close. This role is highly visible and offers the chance to grow quickly while making a real impact in education.
This opening is for our Admit sales team.

What you’ll do

  • Work closely with your manager to target, map, and execute prospecting strategies within your territory

  • Drive daily outbound activity via phone, email, and social to book introductory meetings

  • Lead prospect presentations and manage opportunities from first contact through close

  • Build, manage, and forecast a healthy sales pipeline

  • Travel 1–3 times per quarter for tradeshows and on-site meetings

  • Act as a trusted advisor, bringing industry insight and clearly articulating the value EdSights provides

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in a full-cycle SaaS closing sales role

  • Consistently meet or exceed quota (100%+) and rank in the top half of your team

  • Closed deals with multiple stakeholders where you ran discovery and led the process

  • Coachable, with a desire to build on existing sales fundamentals

  • Proven experience building your own pipeline through outbound (calls, email, social)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Resilience and consistency in a results-driven environment

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Passion for learning, growth, and making an impact in education

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in or selling into the higher education market

  • Experience managing sales cycles of 3+ months

The Process

  1. Async Video Recording - Your application will be reviewed by humans, if we’d like to learn more we will send you a link to record a quick video!

  2. Recruiter Screen/Intro - You’ll chat with Mary, our Head of Talent, to discuss the role, your background, and logistics.

  3. Hiring Manager Interview - You’ll meet with Rocco, the hiring manager, to dive deeper into role-specific experience and expectations.

  4. Take-Home Assignment / Group Interview - This is an opportunity to showcase your skills in a tangible way. You'll meet more of the Sales team on this call.

  5. Leadership Interview - You'll chat with our CRO, Nick. (If schedules allow, we will merge this with the co-founder chat)

  6. Co-Founder Call - You’ll meet with one of our co-founders, Carolina, for a final chat!

  7. References - We’ll ask for 3 references. Ideally, 2 will be previous managers. We typically do these in tandem with the Co-Founder call.

  8. Offer!
