The Cary Company is a leading provider of packaging and industrial supplies, known for our commitment to customer success and innovation. We are currently seeking energetic and motivated individuals to join our Inside Sales Team as Account Managers. This role is ideal for those who are driven to help businesses thrive by managing customer relationships and expanding our market presence.

In addition to a base compensation, Account Managers are also eligible after 90 days to participate in our commission program which is paid out once a year. We also have a monthly incentive for high performers in the department each month. 

**This is an on-site role reporting to our Addison, IL facility.**

Compensation Range: $45,000-$60,000 Annually + Incentives & Benefits
(Compensation varies based on experience and education)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Respond to customer inquiries with speed and professionalism, provide detailed product information and pricing, and effectively resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Growth: Drive sales by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities during customer interactions, and actively work to grow your book of business.
  • Account Management: Develop strong relationships with key accounts, managing larger quotes and ensuring all customer needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including customer service, logistics, accounting, marketing, and warehousing to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • CRM Proficiency: Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions, transactions, and progress within our CRM system.
  • Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs through strategic sales initiatives and excellent account management.
  • No Cold Calling: Focus on warm leads with a high potential for conversion.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Previous customer service or sales experience highly advantageous.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of packaging materials and industry-specific products is beneficial but not required.
