The Account Supervisor, Janitorial Services is responsible for overseeing daily janitorial operations across assigned client locations, ensuring service excellence, team member performance, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. This position serves as the primary point of contact for frontline employees and customers, maintaining strong relationships while ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
 
Schedule: Monday Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Some Saturday's required)

Pay: $20.00/hour. 

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead janitorial staff across assigned facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
  • Schedule, train, coach, and evaluate team members.
  • Address employee relations concerns and performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain staffing levels by assisting with recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts.
  • Respond to customer requests, concerns, and service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, safety procedures, and client regulations.
  • Prepare reports related to staffing, quality inspections, payroll, and operational performance.
  • Conduct safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Support special projects, floor care programs, and emergency response activities when necessary.
  • Travel between multiple accounts and work sites as required.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in janitorial, facilities, housekeeping, or building services.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing employee schedules, attendance, and performance.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Required License

  • Valid Driver's License required with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to travel between client locations using a personal or company vehicle.
  • Must meet company requirements to operate a motor vehicle.
