Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, strategic and motivated Account Supervisor to join our integrated marketing agency. As a member of our Client Service team, the Account Supervisor will be the primary point of contact for clients, building strong client relationships that foster positive outcomes, long-term partnerships, and, ideally, organic growth. Leading projects from brand strategy and campaign development to content and paid media to website development, this team members plays a vital role, leading a cross-functional team, guiding the client’s initiatives and strategy, and guiding financial growth for their clients.

Responsibilities 

  • Manage and oversee the daily work of assigned accounts, ensuring that all projects are executed flawlessly, on time, and within budget. 
  • Serve as the liaison and primary contact for the client and agency team for assigned accounts, lead all communications, including guiding, advocating and supporting both sides of the relationship. 
  • Lead accounts, communication and projects independently with key oversight from leadership when needed
  • Proactively alert the team and address potential hurdles in projects and client relationships, including budget, timeline, resource and expectation management. 
  • Develop and manage project briefs, timelines and budgets, ensuring all stakeholders know key information, milestones and deadlines.  
  • Learn the clients and brands inside and out (business overview, product or service lines, locations, and the competitive landscape). 
  • Serve as a trusted resource and advisor for the client, developing strong relationships and providing strategic guidance aligned to their business and goals, all in a high quality and timely manner.  
  • Partner with the strategy, creative, PR, content and production teams to ensure that all projects are executed based on the client's strategic objectives, goals and brand requirements.  
  • Review all work prior to delivery to the client, including strategic alignment, proofreading, and checking that all client requirements and/or changes have been addressed.  
  • Recognizes and acts on opportunities to support client’s business goals and challenges; upsell new projects and Motion’s other service offerings
  • Effectively presents strategic plans, creative concepts and other key agency initiatives to client, including leadership when needed.
  • Develop and lead client presentations, including planning sessions, creative presentations, and business reviews. 
  • Research, learn and share industry trends and competitive landscape for clients and projects. 
  • Oversee financial responsibilities for owned accounts, including estimates, contracts, invoicing, forecasting and profit/loss.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness, sound decision-making, and strong problem-solving capabilities.  
  • Maintains a strong understanding of the evolving digital landscape, including how social, content, AI, paid media, search, and emerging technologies work together to help brands grow.
  • Participate in new business opportunities when available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business, or a related field. 
  • 6+ years of experience in account management or client service at a marketing agency. 
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and presentation skills, including advocating on behalf of the client and agency, when needed.  
  • Ability to lead a cross-functional team in a collaborative environment. 
  • Experience managing paid media (digital and traditional) strategy, reporting and optimization is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, including branding or content creation is a plus.  
  • Experience utilizing a project management program like Asana is desirable.
