Responsibilities:

  • Assist with processing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and customer billing/invoices activities.

  • Exercise sound judgment when resolving complex accounting matters related to billing, credit, and account discrepancies.

  • Support Month-End Close.

  • Review and verify employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policy.

  • Reconcile AP and AR subledgers to the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and research variances as needed.

  • Process, reconcile, and maintain various company credit card accounts.

  • Assist with internal and external audits throughout the year by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses.

  • Conduct vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Reconcile various balance sheet accounts and ensure proper documentation and accuracy.

  • Perform all other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the accounting.

  • Proven experience in the accounting field.

  • Must have background using Microsoft 365 Suite.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and have strong communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organized effectively.

  • Team player and willing to help others.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $67,000 - $70,000 in Illinois. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
