The Contribution You’ll bring to this Role:  

To maintain receivable accounts in support of our company vision to be our customers’ favorite supplier. The AR Collections Clerk reconciles receivables on a daily basis, makes necessary calls and emails daily to insure our aging is current, and addresses customer-invoicing issues promptly.

What You’ll Do at Justrite:  

• Monitor aging reports by reviewing the accounts receivable aging report weekly to identify overdue accounts 

• Conduct outreach and initiate professional collection emails and calls to clients regarding delinquent balances 

• Negotiate terms by managing payment plans with clients under management approval 

• Perform credit checks by evaluating and processing credit applications for new customers 

• Maintain files by keeping clean, updated digital records of client interactions, payments, and payment agreements 

• Reconcile receivables daily, keeping all records current and documented  

• Run Accounts Receivable Aging report, contact current and past due customers and work to keep A/R aging current  

• Email past due invoices with proof of delivery as needed to collect payments   

• Work with Sales to reconcile invoicing discrepancies and request credit memos as needed   

• Process credit memos and manage deductions accordingly 

• Communicate successes, needs, and challenges to Team and Supervisor  

• Work independently and with teammates to meet challenges head on  

• Perform other duties as required or assigned  

Additional Responsibilities:  

• Report all unsafe activities to Plant Manager, Safety Director or Human Resources  

• Be punctual and dependable   

• Adhere to company policies in regards to the use of personal phones, headphones, and use of the internet  

• Attend department and company meetings, and participate in proactive team efforts to meet goals  

• Comply with all safety and environmental rules, regulations and guidelines, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements, when applicable   

• Participate in cross-training within and outside of home department as needed  

Your Skills and Expertise:  

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:  

• Associates degree is preferred  or an equivalent combination of education and experience  

• 2 or more years related experience  

• Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet working knowledge is required  

• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal  

• Good reading, spelling and comprehension skills  

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:  

• Good typing skills   

• High attention to detail    

Compensation:  

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $22 to $25/ hour.  

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance.   Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
