CMAP is seeking an Administrative Assistant with experience in calendar management and committee support. CMAP is a mission-driven agency serving 284 municipalities and seven counties across Northeastern Illinois, acting as the region’s comprehensive planning organization. As the region’s Metropolitan Planning Organization, CMAP manages a diverse portfolio of programs and projects supported by multiple funding sources and stakeholders.

We are looking for an individual with strong judgment, effective prioritization skills, and excellent time‑management abilities. The ideal candidate can coordinate and manage a complex deputy‑level calendar to optimize time, maintain priorities, and anticipate scheduling needs. 


Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Two years' experience as an administrative assistant, office assistant, or similar role.
  • Previous experience in government preferred.

Hiring Range is $47,826.46-56,196.07
