The Control Systems (CS) division of Honeywell Aerospace is responsible for a wide variety of product lines including air turbine staters, environmental controls, valves, and actuators. This position would be a part of the Tempe Analysis team who supports these various product lines using state-of-the-art software tools. This team applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies.
You will report directly to our Mechanical Design Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Tempe AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities- Perform stress analysis using complex finite element & classical book calculation methods & support testing.
- Creation of technical documentation such as stress reports or part specifications.
- Collaborate with project, design and other engineering disciplines.
- Create and present analysis results in Preliminary Design Review and Critical Design Reviews
- Provide workload estimation and maintain schedule adherence to meet key milestones.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 5 or more years of static structural, dynamic, and modal analysis using FEA software (ANSYS preferred).
- Fundamental understanding of ANSYS finite element software & classical hand calculation methods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

- Experience working in global teams across time zones.
- Track record of successful contribution to products & projects.
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
