**Will consider hybrid/remote with the right experience BUT must be able to attend a monthly sales meeting in Kingston, MA office**

Responsibilities

  • Manage company-provided leads while identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities to drive business growth.

  • Generate referrals and cultivate long-term client relationships through centers of influence and strategic referral partnerships

  • Present insurance proposals in a professional and consultative manner, reviewing coverages in detail to ensure client understanding and confidence in recommended solutions

  • Communicates effectively and professionally with clients, prospects, insurance company partners, and internal service team members through phone, email, and virtual meetings.

  • Finalizes sales by collecting required documentation, applications, and signatures while ensuring a seamless transition to the service team.

  • Builds trust quickly with prospective clients by identifying needs, overcoming objections, and providing tailored insurance solutions.

  • Maintains strong follow-up discipline and pipeline management to maximize conversion opportunities and client retention.

  • Prepares recommendations and coverage solutions for prospective accounts while adhering to agency policies and carrier underwriting guidelines.

  • Maintains a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in all client and carrier interactions to minimize errors and omissions exposure.

  • Maintains current knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and underwriting guidelines for carrier partners represented by the firm.

  • Represents the firm professionally within the community and in all interactions with clients and insurance company partners.

  • Identifies opportunities to improve workflow, processes, and overall business performance while contributing positively to team culture.

  • Meets or exceeds monthly new business production goals and performance expectations.

  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Compensation & Growth Opportunity

  • Base salary starting at $50,000 annually.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty License required

  • Minimum of 2 years of personal lines insurance experience required.

  • Proven sales background with a track record of meeting or exceeding production goals.

  • Strong phone sales and relationship-building skills with the ability to confidently lead conversations and close business.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build rapport quickly with a wide range of personalities.

  • Comfortable handling high call volume, follow-up activity, and pipeline management in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong technical and computer skills, including proficiency with CRM systems, agency management platforms, email, and virtual communication tools.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.

  • Self-motivated, competitive, coachable, and goal-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team environment.
