Position Summary

The AI Analyst role is designed to bridge the gap between advanced artificial intelligence technologies and business applications. This position requires a unique blend of skills, combining expertise in Python programming with a solid understanding of business requirement documentation and user story creation. The AI Analyst is responsible for translating complex AI capabilities into tangible business solutions, ensuring that AI initiatives align with and drive the organization's goals. This involves close collaboration with both technical teams and business stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement AI-driven processes and solutions that enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and deliver competitive advantage.

Compensation

Targeted Salary Range: $80,000 to $120,000 annually

Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.

Essential Functions

  • Collaboration with Data scientists, AI engineers, Data Engineers, and business teams to design and implement AI solutions that address specific business needs.
  • Participation in the development lifecycle from concept through user acceptance and deployment is crucial.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, facilitating the integration of AI into various business processes and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with key stakeholders, including the business unit leaders, Product, Data & Technology teams, to assist with their AI-related technical issues.
  • Identify and define business problems and opportunities that can be addressed by AI solutions.
  • Document the problems into a set of business requirements that can be outlined in user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in stakeholder reviews, and design sessions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of the AI solutions and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement and optimization.
  • Help Troubleshoot production issues as they arise and act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the AI development team.
  • Document and communicate the results and findings of the AI projects to the relevant stakeholders and audiences.
  • Drive strong communications, partnerships, and stakeholder management with senior leaders, functional managers, and staff.
  • Provide data, reports, and information to management as needed.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments and innovations in artificial intelligence and related fields.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related data analyst experience, 3 years of which experience is related to working with artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or related technologies.
  • Hands on Experience working with Python for analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in other programming languages such as Java, R, or Scala.
  • Familiar with AI tools, frameworks, and platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn, AWS, Azure, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in eliciting requirements from the business and converting the requirements into user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria.
  • Familiar with the Gherkin method.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly and adapt to changing requirements and expectations.
  • Problem solver with an ability to work as a team towards a solution.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment, strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
  • Strong detail orientation and highly organized with proven ability to lead effectively and drive results in a matrixed management environment.
  • Ability to think critically, including the ability to evaluate facts and data to draw conclusions, determine the downstream impact of decisions and associated risks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills plus demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to learn/adapt to new technologies and techniques.

Requirements

Travel: Infrequent based on company events and/or relevant conferences or training

Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.

Manual Dexterity:  Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.

Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio, e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.

Environmental:  Office environment – no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
