About the role:
At Instrumentl, our grants data is the lifeblood of our product and our customers rely on us to provide up-to-date and accurate funding information in the form of grant data, funder data, and application data.
As an Apply Associate, you will own a portion of the processes required to ensure the timely and accurate production of grant application information. In this phase of product development, a significant part of your role will involve hands-on data entry and process refinement, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Your insights will directly contribute to improvements in our Apply tool, as you collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to enhance automation and user experience. You will also be communicating with our users and will be expected to go above and beyond in your interactions with them.
You’ll report directly to Kate, our Apply Team Lead and sit within the Product Team. You'll also work closely with:

- Kim, Apply Product Designer

What you'll get to do:
- Track, analyze and report user trends to the Product team and broader Content Team
- Source funder application data and enter it into our database
- Work with the Apply Product Team to design and implement new procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency standards
- Own exciting side projects that contribute to user experience of the Apply tool
- Triage with users and funders with care and empathy
- Strategize with the Content team to define and execute on annual and quarterly goals
- A ‘state of the art’ attention to detail: You have a superhero-like ability to find the tiniest error, whether it be a typo, an inconsistency, or a noncompliant formatting mistake.

- Nonprofit sector experience: You have some familiarity with the nonprofit world, especially with grant writing and fundraising.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary of $40,000-$50,000*
