Rockstar is recruiting for a company that guides mid-market companies to turn AI investment into measurable business value by leading with culture change and adoption. They work with companies where AI transformation is a CEO-level priority, and they stay with them through the full journey. Their clients have achieved measurable business outcomes that show up in the numbers and hold up in front of a board.
Why This Role Exists
Mid-market companies know AI will reshape their business. Few have anyone whose actual job is to make it happen.
The reason is structural. AI transformation touches every function, but it lives in none of them. The CEO has a hundred priorities, and the CFO, COO, and department heads each see only their slice. No single executive is driving AI across the whole business, so momentum stalls, pilots don’t scale, and the gap between what was promised and what’s happening widens every quarter.
That’s the gap this role fills.
As an AI Transformation Partner, you’ll own client relationships and be accountable for what happens inside them: the strategy, the delivery, the growth, and the outcomes. You’ll be the quarterback, the single person the client calls when something matters, the person who keeps the company’s internal teams aligned behind the scenes, and the person who sees expansion opportunities before anyone else does. Your accounts grow because you make them grow.
This role requires someone who can sit with a CEO in the morning, align the delivery team at noon, and close an expansion conversation in the afternoon.
You won’t be expected to do the technical implementation yourself. The company’s AI Product Managers and AI Engineers execute workflow redesigns and technical delivery, while AI Trainers lead adoption and training sessions. Your job is to own the relationship, drive measurable business outcomes, and grow the account.
You’ll also be expected to be a genuine AI practitioner. Clients are on their own transformation journey, and your credibility depends on being ahead of them, not alongside them.
What You’ll Do- Own every client engagement from strategy through delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for each client engagement.
- Translate executive conversations into practical AI transformation programs and roadmaps aligned to each client’s business priorities and KPIs.
- Present board-ready ROI reporting that connects AI initiatives to measurable business results.
- Grow existing client relationships by identifying expansion opportunities, building business cases, presenting ROI, and closing additional work.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets in this quota-carrying role.
- Facilitate AI steering committee meetings with senior client leadership.
- Align AI strategy with business objectives and ensure every meeting ends with clear priorities, owners, and next steps.
- Drive accountability between meetings by coordinating multiple workstreams across both client and internal teams.
- Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining strong executive relationships.
- Continuously feed client insights back into the company’s products, training programs, analytics, and AI transformation playbooks.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in strategic account management, management consulting, or professional services with ownership of senior client relationships.
- Demonstrated executive presence and the ability to build credibility quickly with C-level stakeholders.
- Proven success in a quota-carrying role with a track record of identifying expansion opportunities and closing business.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional client engagements involving multiple internal teams.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand a client’s economics, operating model, and strategic priorities.
- Hands-on AI fluency developed through consistent personal use, with informed perspectives on where AI delivers value and where it does not.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience advising organizations on AI strategy, organizational readiness, or implementation is preferred.
