JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an Analyst, Corporate Accounting to join the Accounting team at our Chicago office. Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Accounting, the Analyst, AP Accounting will be responsible for managing the Corporate Accounts Payable function, assisting in month-end processes, and other accounting tasks. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing all aspects of the Accounts Payable function, including entering invoices, resolving discrepancies and routing for proper approvals.
  • Processing checks and ACH payments for Corporate, as well as wire payments for all domestic sites.
  • Support subsidiary sites regarding Accounts Payable issues as needed.
  • Participate in various month-end accounting activities, such as journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Support the annual 1099 filing process.
  • Manage the check deposits into banking software.
  • Collaborate and maintain partnerships with all departments and subsidiary sites as well as external suppliers.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as required.
  • Assist with administration of the Company’s credit card program.
  • Assist with the fixed asset system.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of general accounting.
  • Excellent technical competencies with attention to detail. 
  • Problem solving—the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully. 
  • Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently. 
  • Quality control—the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.
  • Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. 
  • Associates degree preferred. 
  • One to three years of Accounts Payable experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience with Oracle is preferred.

The salary offered for this role is USD $70k-$80k. The salary range is a good-faith estimate. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Coeur Mining will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Coeur Mining.
