Job Description:

The Analyst Relations & Insights team shapes how the market understands and values Merkle’s distinctive capabilities. In the enterprise space, analyst firms like Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and Everest Group function as critical influencers – their research directly impacts which companies make client shortlists, how prospects evaluate our competitive strengths, and where buyers perceive differentiation. Our team manages these strategic relationships through activities such as targeted briefings and inquiries, active participation in market evaluations, competitive intelligence gathering, and internal enablement that help Merkle leverage analyst insights for business advantage. Effective analyst relations ensures that Merkle’s leadership across our portfolio of offerings is properly recognized in the market – particularly as industry frameworks evolve to emphasize the very capabilities where Merkle excels.

The Analyst Relations (AR) & Insights Coordinator will work to execute the goals and objectives of the AR & Insights team by aiding in the management of daily operations across various projects and initiatives, including supporting analyst firms’ evaluation responses, coordinating client co-marketing activity, and curating and distributing industry insights from the analyst firms. This role reports to the AR & Insights Director on Merkle’s North American Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resource Management: Will lead upkeep of AR and Insights libraries on SharePoint, working closely with Merkle’s analyst relations agency.
  • External Comms: Will work with the Social Media Manager and Project Manager to help ensure timely announcements of key AR wins
  • Insights Support & Distribution: Will assist in the curation and distribution of insights to share with various teams and stakeholders
  • Client Co-Marketing Coordination & Support: Will help manage the creation and submission of client co-marketing initiatives, including case studies, awards, and speaking submissions
  • Internal Enablement Assistance: Will work with the AR & Insights Director to create assets and communications that help internal teams leverage analyst research for sales enablement, thought leadership, and marketing
  • Relationship Management: Will assist AR & Insights Director in the execution of strategic analyst relationship plans across actions such as briefings, inquiries, and research participation and influence
  • Evaluation Response Assistance: Will provide support to evaluation response teams by collecting relevant data, offering light editorial assistance as needed, or other requested means of support, and will also assume increasing responsibility over time for evaluation response needs

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, with the ability to learn reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data into actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for reporting and stakeholder management.
  • Light Design Skills: Ability to create visual, on-brand communications, predominantly charts and slideware
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, social sciences, statistics, or a related field.

The annual salary range for this position is $51,000-$65,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
