Purpose and Job Summary:
NXT Capital is looking for a junior team member to be responsible for supporting the reporting and management of existing cash flow, sponsor backed loans, assisting in the internal processes required to close and manage loans, and assisting with the financial modeling and financial statement analysis of new deal opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of portfolio accounts:  Spread monthly financials, analyze business trends, track financial performance relative to covenants, and prepare memos upon loan modification or amendment.
  • Financial and credit analysis:  Includes detailed financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and preparation of credit memos.
  • Prepare financial and discussion materials for periodic internal reviews.
  • Support senior team members with database tracking and reporting of marketing and deal activity.
  • Support group credit officer through preparation of periodic ad hoc projects.
  • Work cooperatively with other parts of ORIX Group.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements - Occasional.

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year university
  • Advanced degree or CPA is a plus
  • 1-3 years of relevant corporate finance, accounting, or due diligence experience, preferably in a bank or financial services environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interface effectively with senior management
  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to handle a wide variety of responsibilities and meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Team player – effectively works well with others
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Annual base salary gross: $95,000 - $110,000 (IL only). The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of ORIX’s salary for this position based on geography. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of ORIX’s total compensation package for employees.
