About the Role:

 

The Annuity Desk Sales Associate will assist the Annuity Sales Team in supporting new opportunities and managing existing prospects/clients to increase sales and profitability. This includes providing subject matter expertise regarding technical issues, supporting Annuity Regional Vice Presidents in support of clients, and outreach to clients in support of existing and new sales opportunities. 


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Supports relationships with key personnel at client firms and financial advisers.
  • Works to add value to our client’s businesses to achieve sales goals
  • Conducts business and sales operations to ensure efficient internal and external processes
  • Supports the Annuity Head of Sales and Annuity RVPs in driving revenue and establishing connectivity with partners
  • Updates and manages the CRM database as necessary to ensure accurate client information and outreach
  • Responsible for ongoing awareness of product offerings, current events, and industry trends
  • Assists with new business processing and submission
  • Performs research on competitor/industry practices

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1-2 years of practical work experience in finance or trade-related field
  • SIE, Series 6/7 preferred or must obtain within 180 days of employment
  • Interpersonal skills are required for communicating with clients and co-workers in a professional environment
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of investment markets and products used as investment vehicles
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills are required to determine the needs of the brokers while communicating product information, and time management skills are required to effectively meet the needs of the team

  • This is a Chicago-based hybrid role, working 3 days/week in our downtown Chicago office.

  • Competitive compensation package: base salary of $55,000-$65,000, plus eligibility for variable compensation based on personal and business objectives. (Please note: Salary data is a general guideline. Halo’s salaries are based on candidate skills and experience.)
