Solutions Architect - Appian Platform

What you'll do
- Oversee Appian related client projects including leading multiple workstreams from initial planning, requirements design, development, testing, implementation, and post engagement support.
- Lead client workshops to present best practices while understanding complex needs and translating them into functional and technical requirements.
- Engage with decision makers to lay out project roadmaps and ensure the delivery aligns with the organizational strategies and objectives.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members and clients on Appian operations, upgrades, and development.
- Lead on-shore and off-shore teams to complete agile-based deliverables as assigned by engagement leadership during project execution
- Partner with resources from other service lines/industries across Alpha Divisions (Insurance, Alternatives, AWM, etc) as needed.
- Collaborate on business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pre-sales activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience managing and maintaining large, enterprise systems in complex, matrixed organizations, with at least 4 years of experience directly working with the Appian platform.
- Completion of full implementations of Appian and current certifications (Lead Developer Certification preferred)
- Experience leading various size teams in the delivery of agile-based projects or portions of projects to meet defined requirements within Fintech and/or Insurtech.
- Travel as needed - may be required to travel infrequently (to client sites).

- Contractor may be hired as a W2 through a partner agency.
- Contract is slated to be 6 months to start, with potential to extend / convert to full-time employment in the future.
- You may be required to travel infrequently.
- You must be able to accommodate a working schedule of 8:30am - 5:30pm EST.
