Description:

C3EL is seeking an Application Support Specialist / Systems Administrator to support our mission at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. The professional will provide Department of Defense (DOD)-wide functional and technical application support, including user account administration, issue troubleshooting, ticket management, escalation, migration support, documentation, and coordination with Government and higher-tier administrators.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement, administer, modify, and troubleshoot user application accounts for -supported systems.
  • Provide organizational-administrator support for contract writing and other business applications as assigned.
  • Work directly with end users and higher-tier system administrators to document, track, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
  • Open, maintain, and close trouble tickets with complete documentation of work performed and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with DOD application administrators on account, access, workflow, and application-administration issues.
  • Support application transitions and account migrations, including coordination with affected users and higher-tier support teams.
  • Proactively identify recurring user/workflow issues and help reduce technical barriers and delays affecting DOD mission execution.
  • Maintain SOPs, knowledge bases, central repository documentation, diagrams, and support metrics.
  • Participate as an application SME in recurring or ad-hoc meetings when required.

 Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Experience providing application, service-desk, systems-support, or user-account administration in a DoD, federal, or comparable enterprise environment.
  • Experience using trouble-ticket systems and coordinating escalation to higher support tiers.
  • Strong customer-service, documentation, troubleshooting, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet applicable DISA personnel security and network-access requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with SPS/PD2 and/or ECWM.
  • Experience with COPS, FABS, EDMS, CSS, FPDS, IBM mainframe/JHSMAIN, or E-ICAM.
  • DoD contracting or acquisition-system support experience.
  • Previous DISA support experience.
  • IT service-management or DoD-approved cybersecurity certification relevant to assigned duties.

Education / Experience:
  • High school diploma and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
