Job Description SummaryThe incumbent is responsible to develop the GSI Sales across ASEAN in coordination with the local/region Tendering and Project Execution teams. The candidate supports in driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and developing sales strategies.
In this role, you will be instrumental in developing the key account approach, with which you are accountable for Sales Strategy Definition and Implementation, developing Customer Intimacy, Business Development, and Order Intake, while ensuring the strict application of GEV’s Ethic, Compliance, and processes. He/she has overall responsibility to develop pipeline and to drive margin and top-line growth for Service Opportunities related to HVDC, FACTS and ACS.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and market share.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying new business opportunities.

  • Meet or exceeds sales sales targets and objectives for defined country of responsibility

  • Sales Activities: Work with the Sales & Tendering teams to prepare sales proposals, presentations, and quotes.

  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

  • Team Collaboration: Participate in sales team meetings, training programs, and collaborative projects.

  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate new sales leads through various channels.

  • Identify key opportunistic areas for synergies and collaboration between GEV and customers from broader perspective.

  • Pipeline identification, pipeline management and demand creation

  • Develop influential relationships with assigned customers at all levels

  • Build knowledge of ASEAN market economics, competitive issues, technologies and market opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or business from an accredited university

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience within the power industry

  • Experience in carrying out market assessments and subsequently developing and implementing relevant commercial strategies that facilitate market penetration.

  • Excellent understanding of ASEAN economics with respect to regulatory structure and appreciation of social political dimension.
