Location: Rosemont, IL

Salary Range: $57,000 - $65,000

Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote)

Position Summary:

Assists in maintaining account relationships and sales operations under the direction of Account Executives and above.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support Sales Director Account Executives with client management and sales operations. 
  • Maintain tracking reports (e.g. Open Orders, Shipment summaries, customer selling) to help management uncover trends. 
  • Provide support with meeting preparation by putting together meeting prep documents including selling reports binders and preparing product samples. May attend client meetings and document meeting notes. 
  • Execute daily sales functions including preparing internal production orders to begin ‘go to market’ process of bringing product to stores. 
  • Communicate and update clients with the status of their orders and resolve issues in partnership with Distribution Centers and other departments as required. 
  • Coordinate with the E-Commerce team in uploading accurate product descriptions and photos on Randa’s E-Commerce platform. 
  • May act as a liaison for the flow of information between sales, design, distribution, merchandising, accounting, and overseas factories, among others.
  • May assist in analyzing sales to identify important trends to drive incremental sales and find opportunities in the marketplace. 
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed and aligned with the scope of the role

Education/License Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree/experience

General Experience Requirements:

  • Required: 0-2 years of Sales or Buying experience, can include internships 
  • Preferred: Retail buying office or vendor/wholesale industry experience

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities (e.g. software proficiency, language, project management):

  • Knowledge of “Retail Math” 
  • Computer literate in Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite products (especially Excel) 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions/Physical Demands (e.g. lifting 50 lbs, travel requirements):

  • Potential travel involved (less than 10%)
  • Must be able to receive, lift, open, and unpack boxes containing product samples
  • Must be able to represent Randa at various industry functions, community events, and business dinners.
