Description
CDW is seeking an Associate Account Executive (AAE), an entry-level sales role focused on developing new customer opportunities, building customer relationships, and growing technology sales expertise. Through training, coaching, and hands-on experience, AAEs develop the consultative selling and account management skills needed for long-term success within the Account Executive career path.
What You Will Do
* Develop new business opportunities through customer outreach, prospecting, account research, and timely follow-up.
* Build, grow, and maintain customer relationships while identifying customer needs, generating qualified opportunities, and developing a pipeline that supports long-term account growth.
* Prioritize accounts and opportunities based on customer needs, business potential, strategic fit, and market trends.
* Conduct customer discovery conversations, research customer environments, and manage follow-up activities that advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
* Build knowledge of CDW's products, services, and solutions and communicate their value to customers to support technology purchasing decisions.
* Continuously develop sales, account management, and technology expertise through training, coaching, mentoring, and hands-on customer engagement.
What We Expect of You
* Strong interest in technology sales, customer relationship building, and consultative problem-solving.
* Ability to organize information, manage priorities and collaborate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
* Clear verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare for customer conversations and summarize follow-up actions.
* Natural curiosity, coachability, resiliency, and commitment to learning through feedback, training, mentoring, and hands-on experience.
* Demonstrated professionalism, good judgment, accountability, and alignment with CDW values and standards.
