Job Summary:
The Associate Analyst, Marketing Analytics & Insights supports data analysis and insights-based reporting that optimizes multi-channel marketing campaigns and deepens CDW's understanding of its customers. The analyst works with analytics stakeholders, eCommerce stakeholders, and the broader Marketing department to identify data-driven insights and surface areas of opportunity. The role exists to take on the recurring, high-volume Insights work: building and refreshing the Insights dashboards, maintaining data hygiene across internal and external sources, and turning around ad-hoc data requests from stakeholders. A core part of the role is hands-on support for CDW's new Voice of the Customer (VoC) and Customer Lifetime Value program, delivered alongside research partner Ipsos.
What You Will Do:
* Insights Reporting and Dashboards
* Build, refresh, and maintain the Insights dashboards so recurring reporting is delivered accurately and on time.
* Project-own the standardized reporting cadence, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reporting.
* Assist in implementation of reporting in an automated business intelligence environment.
* Maintain external and internal data hygiene across new and existing data sources.
* Turn around ad-hoc data pull requests from stakeholders across the business.
* Voice of the Customer and CLV Program Support
* Provide hands-on support for the Voice of the Customer (VoC) and Customer Lifetime Value program alongside research partner Ipsos.
* Gather and organize existing feedback sources from across the business, including NPS, CSAT, CES, and Customer Advisory Board inputs, for use by the Ipsos team.
* Track deliverables and action items against the phased statement of work.
* Coordinate working sessions and capture notes, decisions, and follow-ups.
* Monitor survey fielding and response rates, flagging issues that put timelines at risk.
* Clean and consolidate incoming feedback data across sources.
* Prepare the recurring VoC reports and dashboards stakeholders rely on as the engagement moves into the embed phase.
* Data Analysis and Stakeholder Support
* Utilize database querying, data manipulation, and statistical analysis to provide business support to Marketing.
* Manipulate data in a SAS, SQL, and Hadoop environment to create actionable insights aligned to business objectives.
* Support the leveraging of marketing channel and advanced customer analytics to assess and make strategic recommendations that improve company performance.
* Accurately differentiate the contributing marketing signals from the noise in evaluation of multi-channel campaign analytics.
* Assist in finding insights and creating recommendations that can be understood by a broad audience.
* Partner with marketing analytics to help implement a data-driven culture focused on continually improving the understanding of the customer.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Marketing and eCommerce to drive actionable insights.
* Help support the evaluation of ongoing analytics and insights needs from stakeholders.
* Intake, Triage, and Knowledge Management
* Serve as the first point of contact for intake and triage of incoming ad-hoc requests, ensuring nothing slips during peak periods.
* Prioritize and route incoming requests against the standing reporting calendar, escalating capacity constraints early.
* Manage and maintain the Insights Knowledge Library, keeping documentation, definitions, and source materials current.
What We Expect of You:
* Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or engineering.
* CDW Summer Internship experience
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem solve independently, analyzing large volumes of raw data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations.
* Highly detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with and present to all stakeholders.
* Proven ability to identify areas of opportunity in existing practices and processes and execute appropriate improvements.
* History of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously, adapting to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
* Experience working with customer feedback or survey data, such as NPS, CSAT, or CES, a strong plus.
