Job Summary:
creative werks (CW) partners with Top 100 food brands to bring their products to market through our design, co-packing and manufacturing services. The Associate Demand Planner will work cross-functionally with various departments (Procurement, Quality, Production and Client Services) to effectively gather insights to maintain accurate production schedules and track client orders to completion. The focus of this opportunity is to build strong relationships, both internally and externally, to ensure resource availability to fulfill business objectives and client requirements.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Own and manage planning tasks for multiple clients by establishing start dates, deadlines and target quantities with optimal level of customer service
- Effectively use Business Intelligence tools and Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Assist in capacity risk assessment and mitigation activities
- Upload and accurately maintain client demand in Syteline (ERP system)
- Lead client planning calls on a weekly basis to maintain schedules, address material issues, and mitigate any capacity bottlenecks
- Efficiently and accurately plan production to minimize company costs and meet product delivery deadlines
- Visit Production floor to review customer operation on a regular basis
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances, direction and strategy in a multi-cultural operational environment
- Comply with company rules regarding food safety, discipline, and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of ERP & MRP software experience; Syteline and SAP experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional written and verbal skills - able to interact effectively with all levels of the business, senior leadership and stakeholders that can pick up context quickly, navigate ambiguity and get to the heart of the solution - Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Production Management or related discipline preferred; High School Diploma or GED required with 5+ years of industry experience in lieu of degree
Working Conditions:
- Office setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55 – 80 degrees
Physical Requirements:
- Operate standard office equipment
- Reach with hands and arms
- Lift up to 25 pounds
