We are looking for an Associate Director, Government Affairs who will serve as a key liaison between our organization and various government entities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of governmental processes, legislative procedures, and regulatory frameworks. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, and stakeholders. The Associate Director, Government Affairs will be responsible for monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, analyzing their potential impact on our organization, and developing strategies to effectively advocate for our interests.. You will proactively identify opportunities for engagement and advocacy, ensuring our organization's voice is heard in policy discussions and decision-making processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You must be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the organization.

  • Develop and implement advocacy strategies to influence government policies and decisions.

  • Represent the organization in meetings, hearings, and public forums with government officials.

  • Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to align organizational objectives with governmental policies.

  • Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in government interactions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, and stakeholders.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in government relations, public policy, or related roles.

  • Strong understanding of legislative processes and regulatory frameworks.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop strategic responses.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant research tools.

Nice to have:

  • Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchains.

  • General passion and knowledge of fintech and cryptocurrency.

Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 USD
