Duties:

Support and work collaboratively with business analysts, team leads and development team. Develop scalable and resilient hybrid and Cloud-based data solutions supporting critical financial market clearing and risk activities; collaborate with other developers, architects and product owners to support enterprise transformation into a data-driven organization. Thoroughly analyze requirements, develop, test, and document software quality to ensure proper implementation. Architect and maintain a Java/Cucumber BDD automation framework implementing three-tier memory management — Local (step-scoped), Feature (scenario-scoped), and Global (suite-scoped) — with a Jenkins wrapper job to orchestrate and run the full Cucumber test suite, enabling stateful, reusable test execution across regression, integration, and functional suites. Design and develop highly concurrent, multi-threaded distributed Java applications integrating Apache Kafka and JMS messaging for high-throughput, low-latency enterprise data pipelines. Build and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins with containerized deployments via Docker and Kubernetes, automating build, test, and release processes at scale. Implement Hibernate Level 1 & Level 2 caching with JPA/JDBC, authoring complex SQL and PL/SQL queries across Oracle, MySQL, and DB2 for optimized, scalable data access. Follow agreed upon SDLC procedures to ensure that all information system products and services meet. Perform application and project risk analysis and recommend quality improvements. Assist Production Support by providing advice on system functionality and fixes as required. Communicate in a clear and concise manner all time delays or defects in the software immediately to appropriate team members and management. Up to 40% telecommuting permitted. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*
