As Associate Product Manager and a key member of our Ecolab Digital Global Water team, you will own the strategic roadmap and on-going lifecycle governance for new and existing products in Ecolab Industrial.  These products include cloud-based, customer-facing software solutions as well as desktop/mobile apps for Ecolab users The products may include data acquisition/transfer, data visualization/descriptive analytics, documentation of customer value, and integration with other digital products.

What You Will Do: 

 

  • Connect or translate between business and technical 

  • Build the strategic roadmap of the product and lead on-going product lifecycle governance 

  • Facilitate the value prop, data and analytics that matter, and technical readiness with the Business Owner 

  • Promote enterprise digital strategy, leveraging the power and value of our ONE Ecolab digital brand to empower business growth 

  • Interact with customers, assisting on the ‘digital sale’ 

  • Identify opportunities for business-led delivery, and provide consultative support in understanding trade-offs and developing consensus 

  • Protect and grow margins through product management 

  • Drive innovation leadership all the way from idea creation through market execution 

  • Promote new technology opportunities and trends to business partners 

  • Communicate emerging business and consumer trends to delivery teams 

  • Broker internal and external resources 

  • Collaborate with delivery team(s) to deliver prioritized features, functional support, financial management, and release management 

  • Manages and leads high level project plans and communicates status updates to stakeholders 

  • Deliver the best outcome-based solutions to our customers through digital programs and products 

  • Coach employees to make use of technology and information 

  • Lead business analysts, knows what the team can deliver, and drives delivery commitments 

  • Attract, develop and retain capable digital marketing talent 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Degree in Marketing, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field 

  • 5 years of relevant experience 

  • Demonstrated ability influence without authority 

  • Product discovery and ideation experience  

  • Ability to communicate effectively across a variety of stakeholders (business owners, developers, senior business leaders) 

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, in budget, to scope, and with high quality 

  • Resourceful and independently driven with bias toward action, able to deliver results with light-touch direction 

  • Ability to work deep in the details while driving the bigger, strategic picture 

  • Experience in software development 

  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position

Preferred qualifications 

  • Experience in phase-gated new product development as a BA, Digital Product Manager, Marketer, or RD&E Researcher 

  • Experience working with data collection from multiple data sources (historians, clouds, databases, etc) 

  • Demonstrated product management experience in driving product vision and roadmapping 

  • Scrum experience and experience working with agile methodologies  

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $118,100.00 - $177,100.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
