This position is responsible for the management of collateral related services offered by the company across multiple client trades and or projects.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Creation and timely delivery, as defined by the client schedule/calendar, of accurate trade reporting to clients
  • Complete or request resources to complete any ad-hoc reporting as needed and requested by clients
  • Ensure client reports are in good form and are provided to clients a minimum of 24 hours prior to the scheduled call
  • Ensure client and counterparty meetings meet quality standards to include strict adherence to start and stop meeting times as well as providing an agenda with loan level questions/concerns to include key collateral documents that are outstanding, such as mortgage, title policy, note, coop docs
  • Reoccurring agenda items to include any outstanding assignment/endorsement the counterparty is unable to find a signor for
  • Set up kick off calls with counterparty and client once trades are confirmed settled
  • Facilitate coordination of new projects with internal resources
  • Communicate with client and internal areas to ensure the project coordinator/administrator have all needed information and deadlines
  • Review trade level reports per the defined client schedule/calendar to ensure projects are progressing timely and tasks are updated properly
  • Communicate any issues found to Functional/Reconciliation/Chain/Portfolio Oversight teams
  • Communicate directly with Functional/Reconciliation/Chain/Portfolio Oversight teams on high priority deals/tasks related to their assigned client(s)
  • Communicate to management any trade level feedback or nuances with details so that all parties are equipped to communicate to the client on the state of their trades and their portfolio
  • Evaluate and resolve loan level issues as assigned by other functional areas/departments
  • Facilitate rush/one off requests for document creation/recording/cancellation/document retrieval received from client and internal departments and provide updates/feedback to the client
  • Coordinate with Recon team and MDS for initial project assignment/allonge creation
  • Ongoing CIT approval with MDS for documents through the various MDS approval phases
  • Provide list of assignment documents as needed from the project population if a pending intervening was present through utilization of internal reports
  • Work closely with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met
  • Must read, be familiar, and be compliant with the company’s information security manual, as well as additional e-mails, policies, procedures, and directives that comprise the overall information security policies as they are distributed
  • Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required, in some cases, substantial, relevant experience may be substituted for this qualification
  • Minimum of 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent
  • Two or more years’ experience or expert level knowledge in reviewing, assessing and curing mortgage collateral documents
  • Ability to gather, research, compare and analyze complex data and develop clear logical interpretation and application
  • Responsible for researching and solving loan or task level escalated issues and problems
  • Attention to detail in the review and data entry of information from documents
  • Attention to detail resulting in accurate, clear and professionally formatted reports and/or correspondence for both internal and external clients
  • Ability to compose professional correspondence independently for internal or external clients
  • Superior verbal communication skills for client facing interactions
  • Ability to conduct web-based research finding sites and information independently
  • Proficient in Excel; intermediate to advanced skills including the use of lookups, pivot tables and basic formulas in manipulating large amounts of data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including the basic functionality of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Exercises good judgment with access to confidential borrower data (SSN)
  • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills required for internal and external clients
  • Makes some independent task level or loan level decisions after research and within delegated authority levels
  • Ability to take high level direction, formulate a plan to achieve the goals and execute the plan
  • Self-motivated with the initiative to research, question, and apply information.
  • Independently organizes, tracks, and prioritizes assigned work including managing internal and external requests effectively and within acceptable timelines
  • Performs quality control (QC) and review of others work
  • Responsible for a single work group or functional area
  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting and escalating the status of workflow timelines in adherence with internal and external service level requirements
  • Maintains a positive attitude
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast moving, deadline driven environment
  • Available and on call after hours and on weekends as needed

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$58,000.00 - $70,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
