The Tidal Financial Group is a leading ETF investment technology platform dedicated to creating, operating, and growing ETFs. We combine expertise and innovative partnership approaches to offer comprehensive, value-generating ETF solutions.

Our platform offers best-in-class strategic guidance, product planning, trust and fund services, legal support, operations support, marketing and research, and sales and distribution services.

About the role

You'll own content strategy and execution for Tidal's brand across LinkedIn, video, newsletters, and web. That means translating complex financial concepts into content that advisors, investors, and partners actually want to engage with. You'll work closely with our marketing, product, and compliance teams to make sure everything we publish is sharp, on-brand, and accurate

What you'll do

  • Plan, write, and produce content across social (primarily LinkedIn and video), email, and web that builds Tidal's authority in the financial services space.
  • Translate technical and regulatory subject matter, including funds, market commentary, and product updates, into clear, compelling content for both client-facing marketing and internal communications.
  • Drive thought leadership campaigns that position Tidal's leadership and products with credibility in front of advisors and investors.
  • Manage an editorial calendar and content pipeline across multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Partner with compliance and legal to ensure all content meets financial industry regulatory standards.
  • Own content performance reporting: track engagement, reach, and business impact, and use the data to continuously sharpen what we produce.
  • Stay current on financial markets, industry trends, and social platform best practices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of content creation experience, with meaningful time spent in financial services, asset management, fintech, or a related regulated industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • A portfolio that shows you can make finance content genuinely engaging, not just accurate, but interesting
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience adapting tone and format across platforms
  • Familiarity with financial services compliance and regulatory review processes
  • Incredibly detail-oriented. Nothing goes out with a typo, an inconsistency, or a compliance gap
  • Data-driven. Comfortable pulling and interpreting performance metrics, and using them to guide what gets made next, not just reporting on what already happened
  • Obsessed with results. Measures success by business impact, like pipeline, engagement, and authority built, not just content volume or vanity metrics
  • Effective creativity. Can bring a genuinely creative idea to the table, and also knows when to rein it in for accuracy, compliance, or audience fit
  • Video production and editing experience is a plus
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects independently in a remote environment

Why This Role Is Different

We're not looking for a generalist social media manager. We need someone who can sit in a room with portfolio managers, compliance officers, advisors, or internal leadership, understand what they're actually saying, and turn it into content, whether that's client-facing marketing or internal communications, that doesn't get watered down into jargon or oversimplified into inaccuracy. Finance experience isn't a nice-to-have here. It's the whole point.
